Mirpur (Awaza News) A renowned police officer of Azad Kashmir, SSP (retd) Raja Irfan Saleem, with high professional skills, while addressing a lavish dinner ceremony organized in his honor by the well-known British political, social and business figures Raja Atiq-ur-Rehman (Birmingham) and Aamir Saleem Awan at a local hotel, said that I performed my duties with full dedication and honesty to eliminate crimes, protect people’s lives and property and ensure the restoration of peace and order. During my service, I brought big mafias to justice without caring for his own life in the face of crime and law. In this regard, along with the hard work, dedication, cooperation of his youth and the support, patronage and guidance of seniors, I also received the trust of the Prime Ministers, for which I am grateful. Police service is not an easy task, but the cooperation, love and affection of the people always boosted my morale.
The police department also honored me a lot. I was awarded more than 200 awards by the government of Pakistan, including Tamgha Imtiaz and Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal. Although I was posted in different districts of Azad Kashmir, most of his service was spent in Mirpur. I can never forget the love and sincerity of the people of Mirpur and I will continue to serve them even after retirement. Halal livelihood is a great blessing. I earned halal livelihood and fed my children. I am proud of my performance during my service.
On this occasion, Chairman District Council Mirpur Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga, Mayor Municipal Corporation Mirpur Chaudhry Usman Khalid, former Vice Chancellor Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, Chairman Red Crescent Azad Kashmir Sardar Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Deputy Mayor Ramzan Chughtai, President Chamber of Commerce Mirpur Omar Shahzad Jaral, former Director General MDHA Chaudhry Muhammad Mansha and PTI City Mirpur President and Assembly candidate Iftikhar Qayyum Mirza also spoke, while former President of District Bar Association Mirpur Imtiaz Hussain Raja Advocate performed the duties of the moderator. The speakers paid tribute to SSP Retired Raja Irfan Saleem for his services during his service and said that Raja Irfan Saleem was not only a personality with high moral qualities but also a courageous, dutiful, talented and a proud officer of the police department.
And wherever he was posted, he helped eliminate crime and suppress criminals, restore law and order, and protect people’s lives and property. He also raised the prestige of his department, reduced the gap between the police and the public, and restored people’s trust in the police. He left with a glorious career, beautiful memories, and the love of the people. Few officers are blessed with the kind of love they received from the people.
