Talking to reporters here on Friday, Ansari said that youth from villages, towns, and cities were entering the fold of JKLF (Y) in large numbers, which reflects the growing acceptance of the ideology of the party centric to thr liberation of the motherland from Indian forces and illegal occupation, he said.
This ideology, for which countless martyrs sacrificed their lives, has now transformed into a public movement not only within both sides of the Jammu & Kashmir state but also among its diaspora world wide, the JKLF leader asserted.
Saad Ansari Advocate, Zonal Spokesperson for JKLF Azad Kashmir-Gilgit Baltistan Zone, praised the successful organization o, what he asserted a grand “Journey for Freedom Conference” in Sawar Tatta Pani in Kotli district on January 17, along with the formation conventions for JKLF units in Tatta Pani and adjoining areas.
Elaboraring objectives of hosting the Journey for Freedom Conference, Ansari said “Journey for Freedom Conference,” organized under the auspices of JKLF (Y) and Students Liberation Front (SLF), presided over by Sardar Zaheer Kashmiri, JKLF Convener, and Shahbaz Noor Malik, Joint Secretary of Kotli Tehsil, with prime focus to give an impetus to the Kashmiris indigenous struggle for right to self determination to bring to its logical end.
A further told that prominent leaders who attended the conference include: Shakeel Chaudhry Advocate (Deputy Secretary Information, JKLF Central) Professor Raja Tufail Ajaib (Head of Political Affairs, Azad Kashmir-Gilgit Baltistan Zone), Sardar Aman (Zonal Chief Organizer)Saad Ansari Advocate (Zonal Spokesperson), Raja Danish Advocate (Central Chairman, SLF), Tahira Tauqeer (Zonal Women Secretary), Sardar Fayaz (Zonal Vice President), Sardar Saddam Hayat (District President, Poonch), Ayaz Karim (District President, Kotli), Bashir Chacha (Convener, District Sudhnoti), Sardar Hammad (General Secretary, District Poonch)
Additionally, presidents of various tehsils, including Nadeem Waheed, Khawaja Sahil, Abid Rawajoorvi, Sardar Mushtaq, Raja Khalil, and Shafiq Chacha, also attended. Among the participants were prominent figures such as Sardar Majid, Khizar Abbas, Raja Nazim, Mahmood Butt, Mahmood Mughal, Sardar Faizan, Abdul Hameed Malik, Abrar Malik, and others also attended the moot, Ansari said.
During the conference, subordinatr meetings were held to form JKLF units in Tatta Pani and adjoining areas.
Ansari said that the central and zonal leadership of JKLF, have, meanwhile, extended their heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected office-bearers. They expressed their hope that the young leadership would propagate the ideology of freedom of Jammu & Kashmir, the vision of Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Butt, and the message of movement leaders Amanullah Khan and incarcerated Chairman of the JKLF Yasin Malik, currently languishing in India’s infamous Tihar jail, to every household.
All office-bearers reaffirmed their commitment to organizational unity and pledged to work under the leadership of US-based Acting Chairman of the Front Raja Muzaffar and others to strengthen the movement, Ansari concluded.
